Officer Reports:

Secretary: Rene’ M. March minutes reviewed and approved

Treasurer: Charlie H: Merchandise sales were around $4,700, about 28% increase month to month; we were down in February and back up in March. We have recently adjusted and readjusted our pricing, which may affect our budget and income. We budget for about $5k a month in merch sales, so we are right in that parameter. Group contributions significantly decreased vs previous month but individual contribution went up. We are looking into some possibly miscoding when entering contributions in the pos system. On hand we have about $73k; $17k in operations account, $35k in the prudent reserves, and $20k in BDS account, this account will fluctuate once we get closer to the convention and expenses are being finalized. Final net income after all expenses is -$338 We are normally much higher than that, so that’s an improvement and we are trending towards better physical responsibility. We considered feedback from the fellowship regarding pricing. The decision concerning price reductions will be implemented beginning May 1st. Our pricing is set roughly at a 30% markup, which aligns with industry standards for small retail bookstores. While we are unable to match Amazon’s pricing, our store offers the advantages of convenience, local presence, and contributes to the ongoing support of the Central Office.

Committee Reports:

Website: Jon G: Feedback regarding the new website has been received as anticipated, with most responses indicating a positive reception. I am systematically identifying and resolving minor issues as they are reported by members of the fellowship. Online ordering is currently available for pick-up ONLY, and delivery options may be considered in the future, contingent upon volunteer availability. The website store offers only AA approved literature and chips. Minutes and reports will be uploaded as they become available, and emails will be compiled to ensure all GSRs receive relevant information directly. Discussion topics include the online ordering process for office workers and volunteers, as well as streamlined contributions for homegroups via the website (eliminating the need for in-person visits). Efforts are underway to centralize all documents for accessibility by future committee members.

TNC: | Anthony F. Committee convened on April 8, 2026. Topics of discussion included whether the TNC should offer support with the hotline and clarification regarding the specific responsibilities associated with TNC roles. Discussion on the contents of the Binder. Average attendance at corrections meetings was four participants. It was observed that responses from Orleans Parish Prison (OPP) have been delayed. Additionally, Grace House requires more women who are willing to share their experiences and serve as sponsors. The committee reported that a workshop will be included on the agenda for the Big Deep South event. There is further interest in coordinating a workshop with district representatives; however, consensus on guidelines across districts must be established before proceeding. The intended outcome is to facilitate a guideline that explains the purpose and functions of the TNC, prioritizing unified district recommendations and promoting enhanced collaboration throughout the districts.

BDS: Mary H: The convention is scheduled for June 5th-7th. Please encourage groups and individuals to complete registration, place buffet orders, and purchase merchandise. There are multiple registration methods available. As of today, there are an estimated 322 pre-registrations, 58 paid buffet dinners, and the room block has reached capacity. Several committees have reported operating under budget. Security T-shirts should be located prior to the event. The final meeting will take place on May 6th, 2026, at 6:30 PM, and the hotel walkthrough is set for June 4th at 6:30 PM.

DAAY in the Park: Russell M: The event preparations are underway, and we will convene after this meeting to discuss how to optimize our use of provisions, materials, and organizational expertise. Last year, a significant amount of food was left over and subsequently donated to Grace House; therefore, I propose we consider strategies to reduce excess spending. Additionally, we aim to engage more volunteers as planning progresses. The tentative date for the event is October 2026.
