Accessibility Info (as of 01/05/2025) We use a speaker and have seating up front for people who are hard of hearing. Furthermore, we have our close caption turned on in Zoom so that the speaker can be translated into the close caption for individuals who primarily speak Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Italian, or simplified Chinese. Of course, our close caption can also be used by deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. Furthermore, all readings from the platform are in large print for the visually impaired.
At Big Easy, we try to foster a safe, accessible, all-inclusive environment as we hope to carry the message to all who suffer from alcoholism; this includes an intentional effort to ensure social (race, gender, sexuality, and class) diversity in our speaker selection.
