More Info on Pink Cans

Pink can contributions provide A.A. literature to under-funded and in-need facilities that serve treatment and corrections purposes throughout the region.

The goal is often to build a library of A.A. literature resources to support the recovery journey of individuals residing or otherwise participating at these facilities.

These additional contributions are separate from your meeting/home group’s Seventh Tradition collections basket. Please contribute to the meeting’s basket first, then the pink can if you are willing and able to spare some change.

Home groups are autonomous (Tradition Four) and can decide as an informed group conscience (Tradition Two) whether or not to raise funds for T&C via Pink Can or other initiatives.

At the discretion of the meeting/home group’s T&C committee, your contributions may provide various literature to these facilities and alcoholics in recovery:

  • Alcoholics Anonymous (The Big Book)
  • Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions
  • Daily Reflections
  • Living Sober
  • Pamphlets and Pamphlet Racks
