June 2026 Bulletin

New Central Office Manager

Please welcome Colyn GN as our new Central Office Manager. She had previously worked as an assistant manager for four years. She returned to volunteer, because she wished to utilize her knowledge to help with the transition period for the new management. We are happy to have her in board and have high hopes for her future at Central Office.

In other news, the AA Central Office of Greater New Orleans remains online. We are continuing to work out bugs as they appear. We appreciate the membership’s patience during this time.

You remain able to browse and purchase literature, chips, and supplies at aaneworleans.org. Pickup at the office remains the only option for now, but the full inventory is available to browse and order ahead.

The Service Board meeting minutes are posted online.

Big Deep South Meeting minutes are not posted this month, as there is no meeting. Instead the planning committee is having a walk through of the space the Thursday before the event, which is taking place June 5-7.

Groups continue to have more control over submitting birthdays, meeting information, and event details. The number of groups who have decided to participate continues to increase and we hope that more will follow, helping build the Greater New Orleans AA service network.

To get account access, contact Central Office. Committees are also getting dedicated update pages, making it easier to reach the right people directly. A better website, is not just a better tool, it is a better way to serve.

Central Office Report

New Central Office Manager
Colyn GN is the new Central Office Manager. She has reported a steep learning curve, and that she is learning the job quickly. We are happy to have her on board, and have high hopes for her future a Central Office.

Literature Pricing Update
Due to increased costs, literature prices remain high. However, for AA approved literature, we were able to lower prices a bit. They should be competitive when taxes and shipping are factored into overall costs of literature bought elsewhere.

We cannot be competitive with regards to other types of literature. As such, once Central Office has sold most of our Hazelden and Grapevine literature, we will not be replacing it.

Laminates
Central Office is proud to announce that we now offer a wide range of laminates. We have options on promises, or you can buy a laminate with all of the promises. We have options on prayers, or you can buy a laminate with all the prayers. We have laminates with “The Doctor’s Opinion”, “Acceptance is the Answer”, “A Vision for You” beginning and ending, and more. If you want to change up what your homegroup is reading, or want to offer you readers a choice, we have the options you are looking for.
